GELu
GELu, a little circle stuck in a world he doesn't understand, with no friends in sight. He knows though that there are deadly spikes around, and that he can move left and right, or even jump while making the world around him spin at the same time. At the end of each stage there is a boss, which can be beaten by our pal to go to the next level.
Game made using the Godot Engine for the 2nd VimJam. Every level ends with a boss, and the levels put the player in some sort of on the cliff (matching the on the edge restriction) situations which require a careful positioning.
My first game using Godot, and my second game overall. Source code here.
Controls
Left/A - move left
Right/D - move right
Down/S + Left/A - jump with counterclockwise spin

I recommend playing the game using the windows native version, if possible. Alternatively, there's the web way of playing the game.

I really like the concept of the game, but...something feels off. I'm not sure if the controls aren't precise enough or if the physics are too slippery or if the spikes' hitbox is too big or what, but I don't feel like I'm fully in control of Gelu.
Having the spin be paired with a jump doesn't help. I can't line myself up with where I need to fall, because I'll just throw off that alignment as soon as I jump. It's an odd choice.
